BACK CARE YOGA

WEDNESDAY MORNINGS, 12.00 – 13.00

BEGINS 4TH AUGUST

Our Hirers 1

Our Hirers 2

Gentle, safe and effective, these classes have been designed to improve posture and mobility by restoring a balance of strength and flexibility to the muscles that support your back.

There is no doubt that our spine is an amazing structure. Research has found that 90% of people suffering from back pain is functional related, this means most problems are due to misuse e.g. poor posture, sedentary lifestyles etc. all of which contribute to an imbalance in the muscles supporting the back.  Based on extensive research, current medical opinion is that we need to move our spine daily by incorporating a programme of specific movements to target specific tissues so that we can bring the muscles back into balance. Once balance is restored we then find aches and pains significantly diminish.
These classes are suitable for those who experience general non-specific, chronic and recurrent back pain as well as those who simply want to remain mobile and pain free. An effective prevention aid for the healthy movement of the back and spine, these classes promote long-term health and wellbeing.

These classes are NOT suitable for anyone suffering from acute back pain, serious spinal neurological abnormalities or for those who are unable to get up off the floor unaided.

I am a fully qualified Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs teacher, Dru Back Care teacher and a fully qualified Yoga and Meditation teacher.
